Residents of Oise given priority to invest in this giant solar farm

“Green” investment is on the rise at the moment, whether in the field of wind or solar energy.

Photosol, a subsidiary of the Rubis group, has just launched a fundraising campaign, thus anticipating by a few months the launch of the future second largest photovoltaic power plant in , on the former plane runways of the military base of Creil (Oise).

930 000 euros are hoped to develop a ground-based photovoltaic installation with a total power of 11.4 MWp.

A way to “involve residents in this project”

30 % of the set objective has already been achieved, which represents 53 investors.

A flying start: “We are already a third of the way towards the objective we set for ourselves. At this rate, we estimate that fundraising will be achieved within two weeks,” confides Guillaume Thrierr, director of financing and investments at Photosol, to Oise News.

The installation will produce 11.6 GWhs per year, the equivalent of the annual consumption of 2583 homes.

On the occasion of the commissioning of this first installmentwhich will extend until fin 2025Photosol offers residents of the Oise department and its neighbors (Eure, Seine-et-, Val d’Oise, Aisne and ) to invest a little savings in this project.

The minimum investment amount for eco-savers has been set at 20 euros, and the maximum at 200,000 euros.

A guaranteed rate of 6.5% over 4 years

This secure investment will offer you a return of 6.5% over a period of 4 years.

For this operation, Photosol chose to be accompanied by a subsidiary of Banque PostaleLendopolis, one of the leaders in crowdlending in France. Those interested can create an account through this online platform.

“This will make it possible to involve the neighbors of this project in its financing and in sharing the value that it will generate. Even if this represents only a fraction of the whole, each stone is important,” enthuses the operator’s director of financing and investments.

A new financing campaign will be launched at the beginning of 2025 on the occasion of the commissioning of the second tranche of this project, which includes six.

A construction site that will spread until 2026. On this date, it is estimated that the future photovoltaic park will be able to produce “around 188 GWh/year, or the domestic consumption of around 85,000 people”.
