The start of the Vendée Globe is always a highly anticipated event. Positioning yourself well often turns out to be a headache.

To facilitate this choicethe City of Sables-d’Olonne offers to watch the departure, scheduled for November 10, 2024, from the Villa Charlotte belvedere.

50 people drawn at random!

Since September 2022, Villa Charlotte has been the scene of restoration work. First seaside villa in Sables-d’Olonneat the end of the quays of La Chaume, Villa Charlotte is located in the heart of a one-hectare park.

The property’s gardens have been enhanced with a gazebothus offering a breathtaking view of the Sables-d’Olonne channel.

Mayor Yannick Moreau has decided to organize a draw to win places and thus attend the start of the Vendée Globe in this exceptional location.

50 lucky people drawn at random will each win two tickets to access the grandstand which will overlook the start of the 10th Vendée Globe.

To participate, nothing could be simpler: from Wednesday October 16, All you have to do is register on the City website or at town hall receptions.

Registration opens from Wednesday October 16.
