Mohamed Abdeljalil, Moroccan Minister of Transport and Logistics, and Baek Won Kug, Korean Deputy Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, held a meeting in Rabat. This focused on promoting cooperation between Morocco and Korea in the areas of rail transport and logistics.
The discussions highlighted Moroccan infrastructure projects, Morocco’s strategic position, as well as Korean expertise in intelligent transportation.
“Korea has leading companies in this field, and we aspire to expand our exchanges of expertise in order to benefit from their experience, particularly in terms of intelligent mobility and transport of the future.“, said the minister.
“Based on mutual trust between our two countries, Korea is committed to supporting job creation, public financing and technology transfer, in collaboration with Korean companies“, indicated the vice-minister.
The two countries are considering a future partnership, particularly in the acquisition of high-speed trains and technology transfer.
