Renowned scientist and specialist in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, Dresse Amalia Bruni identified, in 1995 with teams from the regional neurogenetics center of Lamezia Termede, the preponderant role of the PSEN1 gene in the development of this disease. As part of its 2024 program, the Italian Cultural Association of Broye (ACIB) welcomes this world-renowned neurologist this weekend.

From October 10 to 12, Dresse Bruni will give several conferences to students at the Intercantonal Gymnasium of Broye (GYB) as well as at the Broye Hospital. For the general public, a conference will take place at the GYB aula, Friday October 11 at 7 p.m.. The next day, the scientist will receive the ACIB Merit Prize, during the official day, the gala meal of which is planned at the Payerne Golf Club. Artists from Calabria, Eliana Godino, writer, and Angelica Pedatella, actress, will also participate in this evening.
