Gironde. A road accident leaves five injured, three of whom were transported in absolute emergency

And grave accident took place in Saint-Savin in Gironde, this Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Two vehicles traveling on departmental road 22 around 3:30 p.m. collided head-on at the place called Terre Noire.

Three injured transported in absolute emergency

In the first vehicle there were three people, who must have been extricated by the firefighters. One of them, a 28-year-old woman, was transported in absolute emergency to Pellegrin hospital by the Samu helicopter.

A 32-year-old man was also taken there, by road, and was also in state of absolute emergency. The third person who was on board the vehicle, a 54-year-old woman, was transported in an emergency to the Blaye hospital center.

In the second vehicle was a young woman of 16 years old, transported there in absolute emergency to Pellegrin and a woman of 43 years old, transported there in relative emergency.

For now, the circumstances of the accident remain unclear. A gendarmerie investigation should help to clarify them.
