A Upon his arrival at the Château de Villers-Cotterêts, Akhannouch was welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron and Mrs. Brigitte Macron, as well as the Secretary General of the International Organization of la Francophonie (OIF), Louise Mushikiwabo.
In addition to the ministerial segment and that of Heads of State and Government, the Francophonie summit, which is held under the theme “Create, innovate and undertake in French”, is intended to be a moment of exchange with young creators and entrepreneurs in through several events, notably the “Franco Tech” technology fair and the Francophonie Village which hosts national pavilions, including that of Morocco, as well as a festival which celebrates the French language.
Since its membership in the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF) in 1981, Morocco has positioned itself as a key player through its active participation in the work of the various bodies of the Organization.
This dynamism testifies to the Kingdom’s desire to contribute to the promotion of the founding values of the OIF, such as cultural diversity, multilingualism and international cooperation.
