Rabat: the Mall du Carrousel opens its doors

The Mall du Carrousel, a new shopping center overlooking the Corniche of Rabat, opened its doors on Thursday, in the presence of personalities from different backgrounds.

Completed with an investment of more than 600 million dirhams, this project aims to transform the capital’s seafront into an emblematic destination for shopping, leisure and well-being, while creating hundreds of jobs.

Located within the Le Carrousel project, this new open-air shopping center offers 33,000 m² of commercial space with more than 100 brands, a multiplex cinema, entertainment areas for all ages, as well as a large catering area and green spaces.

“This project, launched in 2019, constitutes a new stage in the development of the Rabat corniche,” Fadel Al Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Imkan Waterfront, the Emirati company responsible for developing the Le Carrousel project, told the press, adding that it is a real place to live combining shopping, leisure and well-being, all in a modern setting by the sea. The project places great importance on green spaces.

For his part, Ahmad Aref, general manager of Imkan Maroc, indicated that the opening of the Mall du Carrousel represents a key step in the realization of the Le Carrousel project.

Ideally located on the Corniche of Rabat, the Mall du Carrousel offers a mix of unique international and local franchise stores, personal services, entertainment and educational leisure activities.
