Telephone operator Salt saw its results increase year-on-year in the first half of 2024. It also saw an increase in the number of its customers.

Its turnover increased by 2.4% to 551.3 million francs, according to a press release published on Thursday. Revenues from telecommunications activities increased by 5.8% to 476.0 million, while sales in the equipment segment fell by almost 14.9% to 75.3 million.

Revenues were boosted by customer growth and a price increase in mobile telephony driven by cost inflation. Between April and June, Salt gained 41,800 new customers, which the company mainly explains by the launch of Post Mobile.

Over the first six months of the year, the operating result EBITDA shows a growth of 2.5% to 284.67 million, the operator specifies.

Investments increased significantly, to 136.6 million, compared to 117.1 million a year earlier. Cash flows, for their part, decreased, to 118 million compared to 128.4 million.
