Worker gets crushed by ton of glass

The Vesdre-Gueule police zone was called to intervene along rue de Herbesthal, in Eupen, this Tuesday shortly after midday for a serious accident at work.

“The incident occurred while a worker was unloading glass and mirrors using a crane,” the district said. “That’s when the materials slipped and fell on the worker. In total, approximately one ton of glass fell and shattered.”

The victim was rushed to Eupen hospital. According to the police department, the victim’s life is miraculously not in danger.
