The Nation and the Republic threatened (Ahmadou Lamine TOURE)

Senegal is slipping dangerously into the maze of violence, excess, incivility and the dogmatic and obstinate die-hardness of a part of the political class and its supporters that the most elementary in democracy no longer seems to stifle. This situation, fed and exacerbated through social networks, is likely to dry up the charm that is unanimously worth respect and admiration to our country in the world.

Do we have the right to cross our arms before the specter of such a decline, which threatens our existence as a Nation, our cardinal values of fraternity and peace in all circumstances, our reputation as a people rebellious to fratricidal internal divisions and our democratic institutions known for their solidity and their exemplarity? Can we allow ourselves to be intimidated by the invariably threatening and aggressive approach of single-mindedness lookouts into a suicidal silence?

Do we allow ourselves to be carried towards the collective decline that the irresponsible actions of a minority promise us, which expects, by permanent howls and rustles, to pass for the majority in the eyes of observers, despite the implacable truth not yet revised from the ballot box? ?

Should we give in to the dark changes underlying the violence we have witnessed lately: doxocracy, manipulation and populism instead of democracy; the shouting and waving of arms over the sacred, truthful and decisive act of voting; the argument of insults, insults and muscles at the expense of that of the peaceful and civilized debate of ideas?

The Nation and the Republic, ours, are threatened with disappearance. It is then up to everyone, our highest authorities at the head of the column, to build up firm and ruthless swords and shields against those who put them in such danger. They are inside and outside the country, not without often uniting as stooges.

Essentially, the context of imminent production of gas and oil that we know, makes the bed of this threat of instability, often initiated and / or sponsored by evil and frustrated covets of our natural resources, who to abolish the order that is repellent to them in order to unroll disorder, docile breeding ground for their dark, untenable and inopportune appetites for the riches of our subsoil.

History teaches us that their internal antennas, essential to the achievement of their sinister intentions, generally emit in politics and in what is said, very often misleadingly, civil society. /.
