Since its beginnings in 2000, after the death of little Martin a year earlier from leukemia, the troupe has lit the “first spark” by going on stage and developed, enriched itself to become what it is today: “ we are 20 amateur artists, singers, dancers and actors, surrounded by around ten technical managers, who undergo months of preparation before traveling the roads of Franche-Comté to present our show… “, explains Thalia, member of the troupe.
Today, the latter is a full house. Each year, more than 5,000 spectators attend. This year the show is called Hugo's Feathers. After years of sleep, Victor Hugo wakes up and decides to rewrite a new work. “As always, it is a musical fresco for young and old where songs, choreography, theater, laughter, tears, surprises, emotions, smiles combine”.
-In 20 years, thanks to the generosity of the public, more than €500,000 has been offered to sick children. Most of the funds paid to the Semons l'Espoir association helped finance the construction of the Maison des Familles, which accommodates parents of hospitalized children. Once this House was up and running, the Etincelles decided, in 2016, to turn to other associations in the region: Le Liseron, Nausicaa, Réa…gir, Néonat25, Rêves, P'tits bouts de ficelle, AFDE … “All have a common denominator: their main objective is to soften the daily lives of sick children and their families by all means.”
