Penaud package for France-Wales

Hit in the toe, Damian Penaud is out of the opening match of the VI Nations Tournament between the XV of and Wales, Friday January 31, 2025. He is expected to face England.

Absent from training today, Damian Penaud suffered a toe injury (flexor muscle). The Union -Bègles winger must observe a week of rest. He is therefore forfeited for the French XV match against Wales on Friday, opening the Six Nations Tournament, but is expected the following week in England.

The Blues staff was not too alarmist, simply announcing additional examinations. “We'll find out more in the coming days. It's Damian Penaud, he's important to us. When there's a little problem, obviously we're worried,” confided Patrick Arlettaz on the sidelines of today's session.
