Kédougou, Jan 24 (APS) – The authorities in charge of revising the Agrosylvopastoral Orientation Law received the proposals of territorial actors in the Kédougou region (East), learned the APS.
” Indeed, during these consultations, we received the contribution of territorial actors from the Kédougou region as part of the revision of the Agrosylvopastoral Orientation Law, ‘said Amadou Mokhtar Mbodje, Executive Secretary of the National Consulting Council and rural cooperation (CNCR).
He was expressed during a meeting with the government services and the actors concerned within the framework of citizen consultations organized in the Kédougou region by Enda Pronat and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereign and Livestock Sovereign .
This meeting, chaired the governor of the region of Kédougou Mariama Traoré, made it possible to popularize the orientations relating to the revision of the Agrosylvopastoral Orientation Act.
This revision will allow the territorial actors of Kédougou to examine the statutes of the profession and the recognition of agriculture in a consensual dynamic, according to Amadou Mokhtar Mbodje.
” The producers and breeders of the region must know the Agrosylvopastoral Law which will allow them to live from their profession. Kédougou is a locality that has important agrosylvopastoral potential at all levels ”, he said.
-During the meeting, the regional governor invited the local authorities and the actors of the services concerned to strengthen the popularization of the agrosylvopastoral orientation law in order to ensure a total success of these citizen consultations.
“Each of us must fully play its role for increased popularization of the law in our territories and almost everywhere in the region of Kédougou”, invited the governor, hoping that “the exchanges will allow the actors concerned to ‘Appropriate for effective implementation’ ‘.
