Since this Friday, as well as this Saturday January 25, 2025, The multiple placein the Beaux-Arts-Boutonnet district, Montpellierorganizes the pop-up exhibition out of residence ofElissar Kanso “The story of modern caves”, chapter II.
An artist whose approach is deeply linked to memory, war and (religious) rituals in a context constantly displaced in between, a country of origin, Lebanon and a host country, France. His work, to be discovered, thus constructs a multifaceted discourse (drawings, paintings, performances, installations, writings) in the space and time between two culturally and politically different poles.

As part of his residency at the Montpellier multiple venue, the artist continued research on the uses of black (ultraviolet) lightexperienced during a first residency around parietal art (first human gesture) in the prehistoric caves of Cantabria.
