Ilie loaned (with OA) to Catanzaro

Rares Ilie (21 years old) is loaned (with option to buy) to Union Sportive Catanzaro, resident of Serie B.

Appearing against Lyon and Montpellier this season, Rares Ilie will play at Catanzaro, 7th in Serie B, during the second part of the 2024-25 financial year.

Arriving in Nice in the summer of 2022, the Romanian international Espoirs played 10 matches with the Aiglons.
After being loaned to Maccabi Tel-Aviv (8 matches in 2022-23) and Lausanne (29 matches, 3 goals and 3 assists in 2023-24), the former Rapid Bucharest playmaker is preparing to discover a new championship, within a competitive club.
