Physical and psychological violence was observed by the inspectors during the visit. The PMI had already received the alert from an employee of this daycare in the middle of winter. She mentioned physical violence and neglect of some of the 25 children taken in.
Numerous complaints filed which indicate “significant concern”
In November, numerous complaints from parents reported a “significant concern” concerning the conditions of reception of children. The PMI also highlighted the lack of personnel to ensure the level of regulatory supervision.
-“Professionals, who are insufficient in number and in great difficulty, are not able to meet the needs of children,” indicated the metropolis in mid-December.
The end of November report drawn up by the PMI concluded that “an imminent danger to the health, safety, physical, emotional, intellectual and social development of children hosted in the establishment.” At the end of January, a meeting between the La Maison bleue group and the metropolis of Lyon must be held for a possible reopening.
