Dari Couspate wants to buy the assets of the great semolies of Morocco

Dari Couspate, a company listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, announced that it has submitted an offer to the company Les Grandes Semouleries du Maroc SA (GSM), one of its main historical suppliers, relating to the Acquisition by Dari of all of its industrial assets.

“This acquisition project concerns all body assets belonging to GSM, including a semoulerie (mill) of durum wheat with a capacity of 240 tonnes per day, located in Casablanca”, specifies Dari Couspate in a press release published on the site of the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (MAMC), indicating that this offer was accepted by GSM.

This strategic operation of vertical integration will allow Dari to secure its supplies of raw materials, to create operational synergies and to anticipate the challenges of a constantly evolving market, underlines the same source.

By this investment, Dari also wishes to continue its commitment to promote the excellence of “Made in Morocco” on its industrial sector.

“The realization of this operation is subject to a certain number of conditions precedent, including due diligence and obtaining the required regulatory authorizations. The parties are intended to carry out this operation no later than March 26, 2025, ”concluded the press release.
