This Friday morning, a garage fire broke out in L'Aigle (Orne), allée Jean Gabin, on the road towards Crulai.
Emergency services were alerted shortly after 9:30 a.m.
No victims but one family evacuated
Three trucks and fourteen firefighters from the L'Aigle rescue center were mobilized to respond quickly to the scene. The fire, the cause of which remains unknown for the moment, was brought under control in around thirty minutes.
-However, the incident caused significant damage, destroying a large part of the 10m² garage. As a safety measure, the family who occupied the house, affected by the smoke, was evacuated. No casualties have been reported and the intervention is now complete.
