The Morbihan department is placed on orange rain-flood alert this Friday, January 24, according to the Météo France bulletin published at 6 a.m. Vigilance will apply from 6 p.m. until the night of Friday to Saturday, adds the forecaster.

“Storm Éowyn is currently circulating over Ireland. Over Brittany, it is bringing lasting and temporarily sustained rain, particularly this evening when the disturbance reactivates”specifies Météo France. The agency plans a “usual rainy episode for the season, but requiring particular vigilance, due to saturated soils”. She adds that “The heaviest rain should stop around midnight.”
