Chesca exhibits his works at the town hall

Puiseaux. Chesca in Puiseaux: A chromatic journey between blue and orange through 15 years of art. Since January 20, the wedding hall of Puiseaux town hall has hosted an exhibition dedicated to the painter Chesca.

Originally from Quebec, Chesca settled in Puiseaux several years ago. A former school principal, now retired, she devotes herself fully to her passion for painting and also draws her inspiration from her grandchildren.

In 2024, she celebrated her 80th birthday and chose to mark this anniversary with a retrospective offered to her adopted city.

The exhibition traces his creations since 2008, mixing poetry and enigma in a palette dominated by shades of blue and orange.

Around thirty paintings are presented, offering a panorama of his artistic universe. Visitors will be able to discover his famous staircases, symbols of progress and elevation, as well as his more recent works, where the themes of infinity and birches occupy a central place. His work inspires the joy of living and invites poetic reflection on reality and the imagination.

Practical. The exhibition, free, continues until January 31. A special opening is planned this weekend: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The opening, scheduled for today at 6:30 p.m., will be a special opportunity to interact with the artist.
