While the 50th César ceremony will be held on February 28 at the Olympia in , the Academy this Thursday strengthened its regulations concerning gender-based and sexual violence, and will suspend any member who is accused by the courts.

“In the event of legal challenge to a member for acts of violence, particularly of a sexist or sexual nature, the Academy office will note the suspension of the member's right to vote until the outcome of the procedure in question. course, or its exclusion until the sentence is fully served, in the event of a final conviction,” declared the Académie des César, Thursday January 23, one month before the 50th ceremony which will take place at the Olympia, in Paris , and will be chaired by actress Catherine Deneuve.
