Since November 29, 2024, Antoine Bonneau has been at the head of Near Cuvervillenear Caen (Calvados). Located in the heart of the village, it is open from Monday to Saturday and offers usual products of a convenience store.
A Cuvervillais at the head of the business
When Antoine Bonneau is asked why he chose to do business in the countryside, he naturally declares: “I live there, my family is in the area and I am a native. It is a strong point for a merchant to know his territory and his customers. » He also explains that he is delighted to recover this small business which has marked his childhood.
The takeover of the company
“I have a lot experience in business with the alternation which made the insertion more practical. Contact with the former manager, Arthur Beaufils, is still good and Antoine also declares that: “I consider him more as a friend than as a former boss.”
For his project, he is also helped by his family and benefits from the support of Initiative Calvados.
-For the future, ideas galore…
From Monday January 27, 2025, the press will be offered at the grocery store. Over a longer period of time, there is a project to improve the store's decorative aspect with a change of gondola and flooring. The goal is for it to be more friendly and family. “I am also thinking more deeply about the delivery system to improve it, because it is limited at the moment.”
Proxi de Cuverville, 6 place du 13 Jun 1944. Open Monday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Tuesday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Closed on Sunday.
