“I submitted my application for a “French Spouse” residence permit in November 2023, following my marriage to my partner, which took place on October 28, 2023,” says Fida Jebali Guiollot.

Arriving in from Tunisia in 2020, legally, she lives in , and fights every day for her integration process. “I was only able to regain my current title on November 21, 2024,” she says. “In the meantime, the relevant services lost my file and repeatedly asked me to send the same documents which they did not check each time. I struggled to get someone on line to ask what wasn't working, only to finally get a call in February 2024, where we were able to check the documents one by one with the lady on the line, and confirm that my file was complete in order to move on to the next step.”
