A musical troupe from Vendée launches a casting call to recruit talents and support the Restos du Coeur

These are our “Vendean bastards”! The association The Volunteers of the Heart, committed for more than 20 years in La Chaize-le-Vicomte, for the benefit of Restaurants from the Heart of Vendée, is looking for new voices for his next charity show which will take place next October.

Songs that turn into meals

Since its creation, the association has donated more than €115,000 to Restos du Cœuror more than 115,000 meals distributed.

Beyond singing and sharing emotions on stage, the singers of Bénévoles du cœur support a local, united cause by directly contributing to improving the living conditions of the most deprived.

On stage, these amateur artists deny themselves nothing. A gentle blend of French songs, current music, as well as international classics.

A commitment while singing

Joining the volunteers of the heart is not limited to singing. This also represents a engagement. “Singing rehearsals will take place from April to the end of July on Monday evenings from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., then from September to the end of October singing and directing rehearsals will take place on Monday and Thursday evenings from 8 p.m. 30 to 10:30 p.m., in La Chaize-le-Vicomte. Regular attendance is essential to guarantee the success of the show, which will take place from October 23 to 26, 2025. In addition, 4 performances with the musicians are to be noted in the diaries during the month of October, from 8 p.m. to midnight, as well as that the residency week at the end of October just before the performances,” explains the association.

Joining the adventure also means becoming “ones ambassadors of the association's values : solidarity, kindness and respect,” adds the troop.

Selection and audition

All people who wish to raise their voice and participate in a great cause by singing are therefore invited to send to the association a video or audio in which they sing “with a song of their choice”. These videos or audio must be supplemented by a short text in which they explain why they wish to join the Bénévoles du cœur adventure “and what sharing through music means to them”.
