While no prior declaration has been filed with the Ille-et-Vilaine prefecture, several “sound systems” are calling for a large gathering this weekend in the Great West.
Faced with the risk of disturbing public order and the health risk represented by this type of gathering, due to the massive consumption of narcotics observed during these undeclared gatherings, the prefect of Ille-et-Vilaine took a order aimed at prohibiting any unauthorized festive gathering of a musical nature throughout the department.
Consequently, from Friday January 24, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. to Monday January 27, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., the following are prohibited throughout the territory of the Ille-et-Vilaine department:
Any offense is punishable by the sanctions provided for in article R.211-27 of the Internal Security Code and may result in the seizure of the material for a maximum period of 6 months, with a view to its confiscation by the court.
