Brigitte Gasseaumayor of Sévigny (Orne) returned to the projects for 2024 and addressed those planned for 2025 during the greeting ceremony on Saturday January 4, 2025.

Concerning the city stadium, the municipality abandoned the project, lack of means. “The grants did not live up to our expectations. They are more reserved for municipalities that still have a school.”

The last census was in 2019

Pour 2025, the municipality will be mobilized from this month of Januarywith the population census which has not been carried out since 2019.

An important step which will positively influence taxation and future projects for the municipality thanks to the overall operating allocation made up of several criteria, including the number of inhabitants.

Development of the town

The 2025 agenda also provides for development work on the town, which began in the first quarter with the creation ofa speed bump. The cost of the project is estimated at more than €100,000 with a remainder payable by the municipality of €25,000. The State will pay €17,000, the Region will invest €20,000 while the Department will give €43,000.

A dental office

The dental office, private project, due to open in the first quarter. “We are very proud to have contributed to the transfer of the land. We hope that this encourages other projects for medical or paramedical facilities,” underlined the mayor.

The municipality hopes to host, in August, a military camp around the municipal center. The so-called seniors' meal, to share a friendly and intergenerational moment, is also planned for spring.

And the enemy logo inaugurated in springlike that of the pétanque area. It will also be an opportunity to congratulate the “Cravachettes” for their great performances with the investment and supervisors of the Cravache d’Argentan equestrian center.
