The first Gold medals of the day were awarded during the mass-start Biathlon events, men and women. Among the men, it was Frenchman Nathanaël Peaquin who won Gold (15 km). Among the women, it is the Ukrainian Daryna Chalyk who is the Gold medalist in the 12.5 km event.

Today, only two curling meetings took place. But these were decisive matches since 2 Bronze medals were at stake. Among the women, it was Canada who won the Bronze against Norway (7 to 3). In the men's category, Switzerland won against Canada (6 to 1).

It was also today that the finals (men and women) in freeski cross took place. The Gold medals were won by the Swede Erik Wahlberg (men) and the Italian Nathalie Bernard (women).

Important day for hockey players since two medals were at stake. It was Ukraine who won the Bronze medal against the United States. The Gold medal was won by Canada against Slovakia (3 to 1).

Big day also for short-track speed skating since 3 Gold medals were at stake. Among the women, it was won by the Korean Gili Kim (500m). In the men's category, Korean Taesung Kim won Gold (500m). Finally, Gold in the mixed team was won by the Republic of Korea team. A great day for Korean athletes.

No less than 4 medals were up for grabs in snowboarding (parallel slalom): 2 Bronze and 2 Gold. The Bronze medals were won by the Austrian Martina Ankele for the women, and by the Bulgarian Alexander Krashniak for the men. For the Gold medals, they were awarded to the Italian Elisa Fava among the women and to the Austrian Matthäus Pink.

On this penultimate day, a look back at the rankings. Nothing changes, remains in first position with 39 medals, followed by Germany with 23 medals. Several countries close the podium with 13 medals (Finland, Poland, Republic of Korea and Spain). See you tomorrow for the closing day!
