Until now, performance leaks mainly concerned tools that were not among the most reputable, such as Geekbench, but today, they are nothing less than leaks around 3DMark, the benchmark reference.
Almost all scenes are affected by the leaks, and in addition to the comparison between RTX 5090 and RTX 4090, the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER joins the party. Please note that these are leaks, and the figures could be falsified. Also note that we do not have details of the configuration used for these tests, but the RTX 5090 seems above 30 to 35% better than the RTX 4090.
For example, in the Time Spy scene, it's about 33% better for the RTX 5090, while that figure jumps to 36% better in the Fire Strike scene. Finally, the prize goes to the scenes where ray tracing is used (Port Royal, Speed Way, Steel Nomad) with, on average, a gain of 46% for the RTX 5090 which clearly asserts itself here as the more modern of the two. Of course, this isn't really a surprise.
-All that remains is to wait for results on the most popular and demanding games to get an even more precise idea of the potential of the RTX 5090, a card which already promises to be the most expensive of all time.
