One of the largest factories in Europe sets up in Moselle

The order and the building permit will be signed, the HoloSolis project will see the light of day in Hambach, in Moselle.

In May 2023, Emmanuel Macron announced the establishment of one of the largest factories in Europe for the production of photovoltaic panels and cells in Moselle, in Hambach! A few months later, this Friday, January 24, the order relating to the environmental authorization and the building permit will be signed.

This project led by the company HoloSolis should produce 5 gigawatts of electricity annually, 10 million solar panels, and create 1,900 jobs by 2027.
