The Ministry of the Interior and Public Security announced the ordinary revision of the electoral lists in accordance with the provisions of the Electoral Code (article L.37 of the Electoral Code, article R.28 of decree no. 2021-1196 relating to the regulatory part of the Code electoral), informs the national daily Le Soleil in its Wednesday publication.
According to the source, the ordinary revision of the 2025 electoral lists, lasting six months, begins on February 1 and will end on July 31, 2025. Citing the General Directorate of Elections (DGE), the Sun explains that this operation which is part of efforts to strengthen the transparency and inclusiveness of the electoral process.
“They are subject to an annual review initiated by the administration. Except in cases of force majeure, this so-called ordinary revision takes place within the time limits set by this Code (…).
