Saturday January 18, around twenty people gathered at the roundabout at the exit of the village of Cressensac-Sarrazac, direction Souillac, to place a protest banner about the medical desert.

At the initiative of Doctor Magand, the medical office and members of the municipal council, this gathering was organized to alert the population of the village to the critical, complicated situation of the doctor who must manage more than 1,500 patients alone.

In his speech, Doctor Magand recalls that the arriving doctor will benefit from the tax advantages of the ZRR, he will be actively supported in administrative procedures, and will choose his pace of work. The medical office has an ECG spirometer and a dermatoscope.

The mayor intervened with Cauvaldor on this subject, he recalled that Cressensac-Sarrazac is not a lost village, the “Brive Vallée de la Dordogne” airport is 6 minutes away, Brive-la-Gaillarde center and the train station are 20 minutes away, the A20 motorway is 5 minutes away, the village has restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery, a pharmacy, a nursery, a brand new primary school, fuel and mechanical service stations.

The village is at the crossroads of the Dordogne, Lot and Corrèze and therefore offers a good quality of life.
