Organized by Eva Jura, the Jura Union of the Montbéliarde breed and Jur'Avenir, Jura Expo 2025 – Miss Montbéliarde JB has established itself as the unmissable event for Jura breeding, a flagship moment dedicated to the Montbéliarde breed. This prestigious competition, which highlights the work and passion of breeders, will be held on Wednesday January 29 at Juraparc, in Lons-le-Saunier.
90 Montbéliardes cows will be present, testifying to the know-how and rigor of Jura breeders. The highlight of this day will be the election of Miss Montbéliarde JB, the great champion who embodies the excellence of this emblematic breed. This event is a true tribute to Jura breeding and an unmissable event for enthusiasts.
The day before the competition, an auction of elite heifers will be held, a major event organized with the support of Gan, exclusive partner of this prestigious sale. This collaboration underlines the importance of this event for stakeholders in the agricultural world and constitutes a unique opportunity for buyers to acquire animals from the best Montbéliardes bloodlines.
A school activity in schools in the Lédonian sector
Continuing from the previous edition, members of the Jura Expo organization will go this year to schools in the Lons-le-Saunier sector to offer activities around livestock and agriculture. These interventions will allow CM1 and CM2 students to discover the daily life of a farmer in a county area.

From 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., senior category. Five sections of 8 to 10 cows. Two presentation sequences of the JB selection program. Championship and best senior udder. Miss and super breast.
From 5 p.m., departure of the animals.
