Le Petit Futé Yvelines 2025, which is one of the brand's best-sellers, was presented on Monday January 20, 2025 at Ibis Pavilionin Vésinet (Yvelines), by Isabelle d'Effendal, the Yvelines/Val-d'Oise publishing manager, and Kevin Flavigny, sales manager.
This new version of the guide gives pride of place to bons plansto the places to live, to the surprises that the Yvelines department is full of. “All of the content has been updated,” explains Isabelle d’Effendal, who indicates that a digital version is offered to buyers.
Unmissable sites
With a photo on the cover of the collegiate Notre-Dame de Mantes-la-Jolie, this Petit Futé 2025 presents from the first pages several chapters with “good reasons” to go to Yvelines.
There you will find the essential sites such as the historical heritage and cultural – the Port-Royal estate, the National Sheepfold -, but places and events which welcome millions of visitors each year: the Fête des Loges, the Thoiry Zoosafari or even the magic of Versailles and the land of Impressionists.
12 key words and strong themes
Twelve keywords refer to Yvelines with strong themes such as the forest, castles of course, but also solid gastronomy with centuries-old recipes. Rather than a presentation in alphabetical order, this guide presents Yvelines by territory : Mantes and the Seine valley, the plain of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, the plain of Versailles, Cœur d'Yvelines and the state domain of Rambouillet.
-“Many Parisians spend a few days in Yvelines, in bucolic places, far from the stress of the cities. There are still Normans who come to visit this very beautiful department less than an hour's drive from their homes. Or even people from Yvelin who spend a weekend 45 minutes from home. »
QR codes to go further
The interest of the guide is still to discover little nuggetsin places, on sites that we thought we knew. “It’s real local work with the restaurateur we visit or the hotel offering with our favorites,” explains Isabelle d’Effendal.
Alongside the good deals, QR codes allow you to go further, browse photos and access comments in digital version.
