The athletes of the Dordogne Périgord judo alliance were in working order all weekend, at the departmental dojo and at the Saint-Pourçain tournament.

This weekend, the departmental dojo hosted the departmental cadet and first division championships. The AJDP judokas shone on the tatamis, winning numerous medals and displaying great sportsmanship.

Among the girls, there are five champions from Dordogne: Trélissacoises Maëlle Pinto (-44 kg) and Victoria Moulet (-52 kg), Isae Hankart (-57 kg, AJDP Excideuil), Maia Villiers (-63 kg, AJDP Montpon ) and the Lindoise Lou Pollet (+ 70 kg). Among the boys, four Périgourdins became champions: the Lindois Luca Dos Santos (-50 kg) and Mathis Mizera (-90 kg), Nathan Chastanet (-60 kg, AJDP La Roche Chalais) and Gabin Saint Sevin (-66 kg, AJDP ).

Audebert and Labrot in

The first two in each category are qualified for the regional championship which will take place on February 8 in Bouscat. They are added to Emma Jaubard (AJDP La Roche Chalais) directly qualified, while Thalia Audebert (AJDP Périgueux), and Gabriel Labrot (AJDP Trélissac), will participate in the French 1st division championship, thanks to their place in the ten first in the national ranking list. For non-qualified judokas, they will have another opportunity to obtain their qualification during the interdepartmental championships zone B 2nd division and hopefuls, on April 5 at the departmental dojo.

The juniors and seniors were this weekend at the Cluzel-Dumont challenge in Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule. Andrani Roger (-81 kg, AJDP Ribérac) and Abella Delmas-Pons (-57 kg, AJDP Lalinde), finished in 3rd place in their category, Sarah Bonnet (-70 kg, AJDP Terrasson) took 2nd place while Christian M'Bani (-73 kg) and Dimitri Picard (-66 kg, AJDP Terrasson) are not classified.
