“It’s been 3 years since we phone problems. There are in principle 5 to 6 weeks of Internet outage per year . Some residents have not had a telephone since month of November 2024 and others have nothing (telephone and internet),” explained the mayor.

A concern for everyone but a real problem for elderly and isolated people who need follow-up. The council hopes that the problem of these cuts will be found and resolved as quickly as possible to reassure residents. The fiber is coming, but with these problems, the population is impatiently waiting for it.

Schooling of children in kindergarten

The commune of Flottemanville was not included in the first year in the system set up in Valognes, concerning children attending school.Sainte-Marie school . Since then she has not been able to re-enter the system despite his reminders. This generates for her an annual expenseof more than 5,000 euros.

It's not bearable. It is absolutely necessary for Flottemanville to benefit from reimbursement of tuition fees for children attending private schools. A solution must be found as quickly as possible.
