Before the Hérault Assize Court this Monday, January 20, Amandine's mother and stepfather are on trial for crimes “acts of torture and barbarity resulting in death” and of “deprivation of food and care”.
The 13-year-old girl died on August 6, 2020 at her home after feeling unwell. The emergency services who intervened found the young girl on the floor of the house with marks of blows and extremely thin. Amandine weighed no more than 28 kilos for 1m55.
