A new appointment within Roche Maroc. Dr Anis El Mekaoui will take over as general manager of the laboratory, succeeding Dr Sanaa Sayagh, recently appointed to a management position at Roche in Indonesia.
This appointment reflects Roche Maroc’s mission to offer innovative health solutions while guaranteeing equitable access to care. It is also part of Roche’s overall commitment to transforming health globally and locally. “We are delighted to welcome Dr Anis El Mekaoui at the head of Roche Maroc. He will actively contribute to the growth of Roche Maroc, to innovation and to the strengthening of our partnerships to maximize our impact on health,” underlines Maturin Tchoumi, Head of the Africa region, Pharma at Roche. With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr El Mekaoui has recognized expertise in business strategy, sales, marketing and medical affairs, acquired across several regions, including North Africa, the Middle East and Central and Eastern Europe. A doctor by training, he also holds a Master’s degree in Biopharmaceutical Management from the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP-EAP, Paris).
-The new general director of Roche Maroc will therefore have the mission of continuing the development of innovative health solutions, strengthening strategic partnerships and supporting the transformation of the Moroccan health system for the benefit of patients.
