Will some of the Monte-Carlo spectators have a nice surprise during the event? They could actually come across Daniel Elena, on the side of the roads used for the race from January 23 to 26. The Monegasque plans to go there. He admitted it to us during an interview:
“I'm going to try to motivate myself to go to Monte-Carlo in two weeks (January 23-26). It will be an opportunity to see a special with my family. Nothing more, nothing less.”
A way to share a good time. And with family, please! Because the Monegasque intends to admire the passing cars with his 4-year-old daughter, already a rally fan.
“My four-year-old daughter loves it. She grew up in the Simca 1000 parked in the middle of the store. As soon as she can, she will be behind the wheel!”

Sharing a WRC moment with Daniel Elena would undoubtedly delight many spectators. And for the others? Could the Monegasque, with his nine titles as co-driver of Sébastien Loeb in the premier rally category, share his experience as a rally commentator? Like he did during the Dakar Rally in recent days?
“It’s not me who should be asked,” he said when faced with this question. “I haven’t had any requests for that yet. The problem is that I’m scary (laughs) . I don't have my tongue in cheek. But after that, I don't care. The most important thing is to be with my family.”
