The last ceremony of wishes dating from 2020, Michel Lecapitainemayor ofAubigny ()near Falaise, quickly returned to the developments of the last five years, namely the crossing of the town, the soft lane, the cycle path, the deployment of fiber, the insulation and the development of the upper floor of the accommodation of the school, the installation of new fire protection equipment, the addressing of each home and the purchase of furniture for the small community hall.

Concerning the rehabilitation of the old presbytery, the project has been supported by elected officials since the start of the last mandate.

Together, the municipal councilors are working to develop the place into a tourist lodge capable of accommodating 12 to 14 people.

Guarantee a better welcome

In the building, a town hall space will be created to guarantee a better welcome and much more discretion. Michel Lecapitaine recalls that “the consultation of companies is underway”.

The cost of this rehabilitation is substantial. A search for aid has been launched from public financiers.

This allows us to hope for financing of 80% of the expenses, the rest being financed by the municipality's own funds and by a loan.
