“The first flight took off from Mohammed V airport today at 4:20 p.m. This new air route is scheduled with three weekly flights aboard Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner type aircraft with a capacity of 302 seats, including 26 in Business Class,” says a RAM press release.

Flights will be scheduled to depart from Casablanca every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 4:20 p.m. (local time) for landing the next day at Beijing International Airport at 11:55 a.m. (local time). Departures from Beijing will be made on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 1:55 p.m. (local time) for an arrival in Casablanca at 8:10 p.m. (local time).

The resumption of the first direct route linking Morocco and China represents a major opportunity for the development of Moroccan tourism, as well as the strengthening of economic and commercial relations between the two countries.

“As a reminder, this new service is part of the Company’s commitments as part of the Development Plan signed with the government in July 2023 and is in addition to the new international services recently inaugurated, notably Toronto and Sao Paulo,” concludes the press release.
