The king’s ambassador to Washington, Youssef Amrani, took part on Monday in the inauguration ceremony of Donald Trump as the 47th president of the United States.
This ceremony took place at the Capitol in the presence of senior American politicians and legislators, foreign dignitaries and representatives of the private sector and civil society of the country.
At the end of this ceremony, Amrani recalled, in a statement to the press, “the strong messages expressed in the Letter of Congratulations sent by King Mohammed VI to President Trump, on the exceptional bilateral relationship which links Morocco to the United States, as well as the historical depth of the bilateral strategic alliance and its promising future prospects.”
