Member of the Constitutional Council since 2019, François Pillet, former senator of Cher and mayor of Mehun-sur-Yèvre, is one of the civilian winners of the January 1st promotion of the Legion of Honor and the National Order of Merit published this Saturday, January 18 by the Grand Chancellery and at Official Journal.
“All these people embody merit, civic-mindedness, courage. They serve the general interest and the influence of the country over the long term, the first criterion for awarding these decorations,” specifies the Grand Chancellery in a press release.
