From January 20 to 24, It starts todayhosted by Faustine Bollaert, devotes a week to mental health. During these five shows, witnesses will recount their experiences dealing with depression, psychiatric disorders and even suicide. A major national cause for the year 2025, this public health issue affects nearly one in five people in .

Affecting all ages and all social backgrounds, mental illnesses and psychological disorders affect around 13 million people. The Government has decided to make it the Great National Cause of 2025. And, at the start of the year, It starts today chose to offer five programs on the subject, from different angles.

Help break taboos

Among the witnesses, Dominique Daumard, president of the Mental Health and Inclusion (SPI) association. As she tells it in an interview with Public Goodshe opened up about the schizophrenia from which she has suffered for many years. “Welcoming their stories and their struggles is a way of helping to break taboos and informing the public about the importance of taking care of their mental health”emphasizes the production of It starts today.
