After the arrivals of winner Charlie Dalin on Tuesday January 21, his runner-up Yoann Richomme the next day and Sablais Sébastien Simon on Friday January 17, the parade on the Sables-d'Olonne channel should soon resume.
And they will, logically, many more people cross the mythical channel of the seaside town!
Thursday January 23
Two arrivals of skippers are planned for Thursday January 23, 2025 : Sam Goodchild and Jérémie Beyou.
Unfortunately, the English skipper lost his mainsail and his return to Les Sables-d'Olonne promises to be more complicated than expected. “It completely changes my Vendée Globe. I'm just trying to get my boat home safely.We're going to go all the way. If I can’t repair it, I’ll have to wait until the wind is with me to get back as best I can,” he said.

Friday January 24
A real parade is expected for Friday January 24, including the arrival of one of the favorites for final victory (Thomas Ruyant), but above all the first woman in this 10th edition of the Vendée Globe (Justine Mettraux)!

After the triumphant arrival of Sébastien Simon, it is Benjamin Dutreux, another skipper from Sables who should come and ignite the Sables-d'Olonne channel. Two popular skippers are also expected between Sunday January 26 and Monday January 27.
