Egg recalls were issued over the weekend in several Canadian provinces due to possible salmonella contamination.

This could also affect some boxes sold by us.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled eggs from brands such as Compliments, no name, Golden Valley Eggs, Western Family Eggs and Foremost in large, extra large and jumbo sizes.

The expiration dates of the affected boxes are February 16 and 22 as well as March 1 in effect until March 8.
