The mayor, Line Lalaurie, and the Municipal Council presented their wishes to the population on Saturday, January 18, in the Tivoli room. The ceremony took place in the presence of Michel Gouriou, sub-prefect of Marmande-Nérac, Hélène Laporte, deputy, Gilbert Duffour, departmental councilor, Martial Arranz, major of the Sainte-Livrade gendarmerie, Laurent Périquet, representative of the firefighters, Philippe d'Halluin, parish priest, and Jacqueline Prévot, mayor of Brugnac.
In her welcome speech, Line Lalaurie expressed her deep gratitude to all those who contribute to the dynamism of the town: traders, entrepreneurs, farmers, teachers, health professionals, but also associations and volunteers, whose dedication and passion enrich the collective life. She also thanked all municipal staff for the quality of their work.
A doctor arrived
Jean-Marie Prévot, deputy, then gave details of the work carried out last year. The major project, still in progress, is that of Château Solar, the first phase of which is almost complete. It amounts to 417,000 euros, with 203,800 euros in subsidies. It will cost around one million euros for all three tranches. The mayor recalled that a call for donations had been launched. In addition, maintenance work on nursery and primary schools was carried out, in particular the installation of roller shutters.
-For 2025, another major project is planned: the renovation of the village hall, for a total amount of 448,700 euros excluding tax, with 248,200 euros in subsidies. The development of the Layral squares, the church, public toilets and the church square is also planned, for a total amount of 685,000 euros, including 205,500 euros in subsidies.
After addressing the incentive tax for collecting household waste, Line Lalaurie announced good news: the arrival of a doctor, Doctor Nabil Alloussi, who is also an emergency doctor, since January 2. His arrival will make it possible to begin the creation of a health center.
