this five-day team raid mixing different sports and activities will start from Lauragais

From Friday June 27 to Tuesday June 1^is July 2025, at the initiative of the Departmental Tourism Committee, Haute-Garonne will be the scene of a great adventure inviting lovers of sport and nature to go through a raid of 260 kilometers from one end of the department to the other.

This first edition of the Great Crossing of Haute-Garonne will be enhanced with a variety of activities. She will rush from Lauragaiswhere most of the first two stages will take place, before continuing until the Mourtisin the Pyrenees.

The stages planned in Lauragais

Friday June 27 is Saint-Ferréol lakea key site of Canal du Midi will be the kick-off of these five days which promise to be very sporty. This first stage will end at Aygues live and will involve challenges of canoe, VTT et biathlon laser.

The next day, Saturday June 28, the start will be givenAygues live for a second stage whose itinerary will take the participants to Rieux-Volvestre. This day's activities will focus on VTTthe paddle and the archery.

Crossing the Comminges to the Pyrenees

After the Lauragais and the Volvestre, the following stages will cross the Comminges to join The Mourtisplace of the arrival of this great raid through the landscapes of Haute-Garonne.

On Sunday June 29, the day's itinerary will take participants from Rieux-Volvestre to Martres-Tolosane with tests of VTT and of course d’orientation. A stage will follow on Monday June 30 Martres-Tolosane – Aspet with quizof VTT and the potholing. Finally, the 1^is July, from VTT of theescalade a you trail will be on the program between Aspet and the Mourtis ski resort in Boutx.

How to participate in this great crossing?

To participate in this great crossing, it will be necessary to form a team which can be mixed and must be composed of three or four people: two teammates and a replacement assistant or three teammates and a replacement assistant.

Registrations are open until June 10, 2025. Note that it is possible to participate for the day (for a price of €64 per person) or for five days (for an amount of €265 per person).

Equipped with the road book and IGN maps provided by the organization, participants will have the opportunity to spend the night in a tent on the bivouac areas provided for the occasion. Moreover, every evening, a meal will be offered by the municipality of the arrival stage.

The organizers of this Grande Traversée de Haute-Garonne announce that they want to emphasize the collective, with events where coordination and mutual assistance will be essential. The event is intended to be an opportunity to share a unique experiencewhatever your level, and enjoy a moment surrounded by nature, with family or friends.

To achieve this objective, the organization will allow participants to choose their pace and participate in the stages of their choice, thanks to a flexible registration formula.
