From realities on the ground to the development of public policies in order to age well in the Gard, this was the common thread of the territorial autonomy conference which took place on January 16 on the left bank of the Pont du Gard. This is the eighth edition of this conference (formerly the conference of financiers of the prevention of loss of autonomy, CFPPA) which brought together nearly 200 representatives of associations, communities or municipalities with the main actors involved in the prevention of loss of autonomy. Namely Christophe Serre, 1st vice-president of the departmental council, delegate for autonomy and president of the Territorial Conference of Autonomy (CTA), Olivier Tarrou, director of autonomy in the Department, Guillaume Dubois, regional director of the Regional Health Agency (ARS), Sandrine Ori, head of territorialized Autonomy service and Hélène Kesteloot, organizer of the conference.
Inclusive housing, priority of the Departmental Council
The role of the National Solidarity Fund for Autonomy (CNSA) was discussed with Benjamin Leroux who is mobilizing to bring together project leaders and to enable stakeholders to better collaborate. La Carsat with Anne Marcilhac (director of the Institute for the Study of Aging (ITEV) and Delphine Paccard (head of social action and health) took stock of the situation on the experiment carried out to identify isolated elderly people. The interventions non-medicinal drugs were the last subject addressed by Grégory Czaplicki (director of the health education committee of Gard) and Sandrine Ori citing physiotherapy protocols, occupational therapy, adapted physical activity and psychotherapy, all complementary disciplines for prevention, occupational health, disability support and aging well.
According to Christophe Serre, “the Departmental Council has made inclusive housing one of the priority objectives, it constitutes the first response to the loss of autonomy and social isolation, for this purpose 1 million Euros have been invested for housing inclusive.”
The afternoon was devoted to meetings and exchanges between autonomy stakeholders around three workshops, the evaluation of projects, methods and tools, the second with the call to everyone in order to pool and support the realization of joint projects, that is to say resources (data, software, hardware) shared and supplied by each person, finally the last workshop concerned the participation of users in projects.
