Still presented by Camille Combal and co-produced by BBC Studios and TF1 Prod, the entertainment that makes sports, music, comedy and even television celebrities dance is back. Puremédias, who was able to attend the press conference organized by TF1 in mid-January, takes stock of the latest information from “Dancing with the Stars” 2025.

“Dancing with the Stars” 2025: Broadcast date

The first episode will be broadcast on Friday February 7, 2025, from 9:10 p.m. on the front page. As for the other bonuses, they will be found every Friday on TF1. During the press conference, Camille Combal made it clear that the competition was going to be offered over a much longer period compared to previous editions.

It's going to last quite a while this year. We are very happy with that. Candidates will have time to progress!”declared the host. Rémi Faure, director of streaming programs for the TF1 group, immediately outbid: “I was told that “Star Ac'” lasted 12 weeks and then it lasts 15 or 16 weeks. So we'll see. We left until April, probably more late April than early April”.

“Dancing with the Stars” 2025: The mechanics remain the same

The big news this year is that there won't really be anything new, at least not in the mechanics of the competition. While viewers were treated to significant changes last year for a return to basics, no major new developments were announced during the press conference. Rémi Faure however clarified: “We must renew the program, reinvent it with themes, new features every week”.

Jean-Marc Généreux, Fauve Hautot, Chris Marques and Mel Charlot are all back. “We kept the same judges because it was obvious to us”, assured the director of streaming programs for the TF1 group.

“Dancing with the Stars” 2025: What audience results in 2024?

In watch audiences and on average, the thirteenth season of “Dancing with the Stars” brought together 3,34 millions of viewers on the first part, i.e. 17,8% people in front of their television and 32,7% on the commercial target. As for the second part, it managed to bring together an average of 2.91 million aficionados, for an audience share of 23.3% of the general public and 38.5% of the target of women responsible for purchases aged less than fifty years.

This edition was deeply marked by the clash between singer Natasha St-Pier and comedian Inès Reg. “The atmosphere of the final was special!”, recognized Camille Combal during the meeting with the press. On the same subject, Adil Rami confided to the host: “I will promise you that there will be no conflicts or fights here this year!”.
