“Were the fumes dangerous? »: faced with repeated fires, Aubervilliers between fear and fatalism
Small pools of white foam are still present this Sunday, January 19, on the roadway and in the tarmac surroundings of the 1,600 m2 warehouse which burned the day before, at 7, rue du Tournant, in Aubervilliers. The charred skeleton of the building gives an idea of the storage volume.
Amidst the remains of the structure, we see a tangle of twisted metal beams and rails. Bales of textile material pile up at the entrance, after being extricated from the fire which mobilized 136 firefighters and 29 intervention machines on Saturday morning. An extinguishing robot was also deployed inside the site which also contained household appliances.
